The Championship race is this weekend. Double entry fee if you want to run for Track Champion.
If you have won Money or Have been in an A Main (In Lewistown) you Qualify to run for the Championship.
No Novice Races.
One Lucky spectator Will win $1000.00.
If you want to have a chance to win the $1000.00 you have to buy an $8.00 ticket to the grandstand.

There seems to be some renewed interest in running trucks.
There is a standing order that if 6 (six) trucks show up AMX will run them.
If you are interested in building an AMX Truck, follow the rules for Super Stock
(GM to GM, Ford to Ford..., muffler, etc., etc...) up to a 1/2 ton truck no 4 wheel drives, No Elcaminos or Rancheros.

A quick over veiw of the Rules for 2006
General Rules and Regulations:
Use of Alcohol and/or Illegal Drugs:
NO ALCOHOL OR ILLEGAL DRUGS OF ANY TYPE IS ALLOWED IN THE PIT AND RACE TRACK AREA.
THIS WILL BE ENFORCED AND IF CAUGHT. YOU WILL HAVE TO LEAVE THE GROUNDS.
If you are suspected of using alcohol or illegal. drugs before or during the race.
You will be subjected to a test and if found positive, any cost incurred will become your
responsibility. It will be cause for automatic disqualification of driver, car
and pit crew for that race day. Depending on certain circumstances, additional. suspension
may be enforced by the AMX Board of Directors.
Hot Lap Information:
All novice drivers are required to take all hot laps.
(see individual track pages for the number of laps offered
starting times and entry fee refunds)
Missing a Jump:
Cutting comers on the track or going around jumps will result in an automatic black flag.
If forced out-of-bounds by contact, flaggers' judgment applies.
Super Stock Specs:
Attention Drivers: There will be a random check of "heat' winners and a check of
ALL "main" winners at a designated area. That area will be announced at your driver's
meeting prior to race time. The check will be for mufflers and tire diameters.
Radiators:
Screen 1/8" maximum expanded metal may be installed in front of radiator itself,
but must not reinforce the front of the vehicle,
cannot be attached to the bumper. A 6" zone in front of the radiator core is granted
to install spray nozzles and/or other supportive design. No foreign metal, other than
the front bumper loop, is allowed past this zone.
Bumpers:
Maximum bumper height, front and back, is 27 1/2" from the ground. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Nothing may be attached to the front bumper except the bumper loops.
Only car bumpers allowed.
Mud Flaps:
Flaps must be 12" wide and 4" from the ground and located directly behind the rear tires,
being horizontal with the outside of the rear tire tread pattern.
Mud flaps must be made from rubber material (including rubber belting) at least 5/16" thick.
Tires:
Maximum 29" tires need to be D.O. T. approved (car or pickup tires only).This will be enforced. Stock Specs:
